Resource Management Performance
It is in the Company’s interests from both an environmental and financial perspective to review the use and management of energy resources, waste and water consumption. In order to facilitate the more efficient use of resources, we have set targets in this area of environmental management. The table below shows the commitments we have set and our progress:

Other initiatives |

Port of Teignmouth – has replaced the quayside lights with low sodium more energy efficient, light bulbs. It is proposed that the same will be done in port workshops in due course Port of Swansea – has undertaken a review of the use of impounding pumps within the dock system and significantly reduced electricity use through more efficient operation of the pumps |
