Environmental Legislation
Across our wide range of activities ABP has to be aware of, and work with, a huge amount of environmental legislation covering everything from air quality measures to waste and habitat protection. Needless to say, it is company policy to comply with all environmental legislation.
In addition, there are many occasions where existing legislation may have new interpretation by regulators or where the legislation is inconsistently applied. It is not in the interests of legislators, or ABP, that either of these situations occur and it is, therefore, company policy that we will work closely and constructively with regulators to ensure interpretations are clear, transparent and objective.
